The Secret in their Eyes: Benjamín Espósito just retired after a whole life as an employee in a criminal court. He has a long-delayed dream: writing a novel. To narrate it he does not intend to invent anything, on the contrary: he will tell a true story, of which he has been the witness and protagonist, in the faraway Argentina of the year 1974: The Story of a murder, and of the search and the finding of the guilty person. Espósito does not write for the sake of writing. Although he finds it hard to admit it, he writes for a woman of whom he is quietly in love for a very long time. A woman who has shared with him that story.
